I am beyond thrilled that I will be appearing at Bill Cole’s Front Porch Music Series . The Front Porch Series began in 2020 on Bill Cole's porch during Covid, when musicians weren't working and people couldn't hear live music.  Bill invited colleagues to play before a live audience who brought lawn chairs and sat in the front yard.   

After the first years at Bill's house, the Series continued at the Thetford Hill Church and in 2025 at the Claremont Creative Center.  This will be his grand finale concert .

Li Shen wrote about the 2023 Series : "It’s nothing short of amazing that this amount of talent will convene in Thetford, VT of all places. Through improvisation on the fly, they will create sounds that explore the limits of both the instrument and the player and challenge the listener’s concept of music.”

Putting it simply The Quantum Blues Quartet presents a “must see” experience and the perfect chemistry for an all-star band.

Paul Shaffer, a celebrated television personality, musical director, composer and arranger for celebrities such as David Letterman, The Blues Brothers and BB King, is in his element as an improviser.

Tisziji Muñoz, is a pioneering figure in the creative music ecosystem, consistently igniting musical inspiration within the quartet. Tisziji is well known for his work with Jazz legends like Pharoah Sanders and McCoy Tyner

Will Calhoun, renowned for his genre-defying drumming in the rock band Living Colour, has a deep connection to the world of traditional African rhythms, Jazz and Blues.

Jamaaladeen Tacuma forged his unique musical identity during his formative years under the guidance of Ornette Coleman, and is known for his expressive performances, fearless musical innovation and creative force.

As a quartet, they seamlessly blend genres, transcending the boundaries of Jazz, Funk, and Blues harmonies and rhythms to create an unforgettable musical journey.
