A NIGHT IN DETROIT: TONY ALLEN PRESENTS BLACK SERIES FROM LAGOS TO DETROIT
United States, Nigeria, Ivory Coast / The master of Afro-beat rhythm of Lagos has an alliance with the cream of the victorious Black Detroit Sound.

Tony Allen, Fela's former drummer with whom he created the Afrobeat in the 70s, continues to increase musical experiences. In this new project, it binds in the same scene Africanness of Lagos and that of Detroit, to create a bridge between two founding cities of urban musical trends among the strongest in decades. With this strong team-Oghene Kologbo and Cesar Anot, pillars of the rhythm section of Africa 80, the Anglo-Nigerian rapper Ty, one of the most influential time on the British scene, Dez Andres - the famous DJ group hip hop Slum Village, and Amp Fiddler, prime contractor for this special evening dedicated to Detroit - which is undertaking a new and explosive alloy of musical expression, impulses between Afrobeat, funk rhythms, hip hop punctuations, soulful melodies, scratches Ghettotech ...
